New Mexico Legal Aid will be hosting a free pro se legal clinic addressing Unemployment Insurance Benefits in the state of New Mexico, to people who are income eligible.
This clinic is aimed at individuals who wish to file for Unemployment Insurance Benefits; wish to appeal a decision regarding Unemployment Insurance Benefits; or who are in the midst of an appeal regarding Unemployment Insurance Benefits.
The clinic will cover the following topics:
- Eligibility requirements;
- How to file a claim for benefits;
- The claim determination process;
- How to appeal a determination; and
- How to appeal a determination to the District Court System.
