If you have been denied service or if you are dissatisfied with the manner or quality of legal assistance this office provides to you, you may ask the Executive Director of New Mexico Legal Aid, Inc. to review what was done in your case. Ask in writing for this review; we can help you write it if you ask us to. Tell us why you are unhappy with our services. Send or bring your complaint to Executive Director, New Mexico Legal Aid, P.O. Box 25486, Albuquerque NM 87125-5486.
Make your request within 30 days from the time you knew of the problem. (Let us know if you think you have a good reason for taking longer than 30 days.) The Executive Director will review your case and respond to you in writing within 10 business days. The Executive Director will give you information about an additional review you can ask for if you disagree with the Executive Director’s decision.
