New Mexico Legal Aid seeks a highly motivated candidate to serve as an administrative assistant for NMLA’s statewide administration office in Albuquerque.  The administrative assistant will work directly with the Executive Director, Development Director, Human Resources Director and other members of the senior management team. This position will provide opportunity to be involved in key leadership and policy initiatives important to the future of NMLA.


New Mexico Legal Aid Announces Launch of Veterans Justice Project: Serving Those Who Have Served

New Mexico Legal Aid (NMLA) has received funding from the Department of Veterans’ Services (DVS) and a contract with New Mexico Veterans Integration Centers pursuant to a Supportive Services for Veteran Families federal grant with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.  “We owe it to our veterans to honor their service and sacrifice by helping connect them with the legal services they need,” said DVS Deputy Secretary Alan Martinez.

is a civil legal advocacy organization dedicated to equal access to justice for all low-income people and communities throughout New Mexico. We provide help with civil legal issues through outreach, training, education, and quality representation.
